Straight answers
Do we have to share everything?
No. You choose systems, folders, cameras, time periods.
Does removing names make it anonymous?
Not by itself. The review goes further than names and plates. Other details can still identify someone, and the agreed process checks for that before training.
Can we block certain buyers?
Yes, before signing. Competitors, customers, uses. These restrictions belong in the agreement.
Do we keep ownership?
Yes. Licensing grants a right to use, never ownership.
How is the data transferred?
Nothing moves until a buyer deal is signed. Then your team runs a standard export from the systems in scope, the same export functions Slack, Gmail, HubSpot or your ticketing tool already offer, or a database dump for internal systems. The files go over an encrypted transfer, SFTP or a one-time secure upload link, into a controlled environment where identifying details are removed. No one connects to your live systems, and the raw export is deleted once the anonymised dataset is delivered.
Where does the data go?
To the buyer's controlled environment, only after a signed deal. Buyers never get access to your live systems.
How much is it worth?
Depends on volume, history, uniqueness, rights and demand. The calculator is an illustration; a call gives a real estimate.
